Hello LEHS Graduating Seniors and Families,
I hope this email finds you well. It was wonderful to see so many of you last Tuesday as we passed out yard signs and caps/gowns. We are looking forward to seeing you on Friday, June 12 for the drive-up/walk-through graduation. While we know that this cannot replace a full graduation, we hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments.

In order to ensure traffic flow is steady, students with last names...
- A-M are encouraged to come between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- N-Z are encouraged to come between 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Please post the name of the Graduate in the passenger side window, so staff will be prepared for your student’s arrival. Graduates, please wear caps and gowns. Decorating of cars is encouraged. Please make sure any decorations are appropriate for a school event.
Drive-Up/Walk-Through Process
- Enter through the PYLUSD district office driveway on Orangethorpe, just next to El Camino Real High School and drive up the hill.
- Please remain in your car. You will be directed through the parking lot to the stage area by signs/staff.
- Social distancing will be observed at all times.
- When you arrive at the health table (just before the stage) the graduate will exit the car.
- The Health Station will have hand sanitizer available and students will pick up LEHS Graduation 2020 Masks. In addition any honor cords and medals will be distributed at this table.
- The graduate will proceed up a ramp to the stage where their name will be called. Your car will be directly in front of the stage at this time. The stage will be on the passenger side of your vehicle.
- Professional lifetouch photographers will take photos of the graduate on stage with the diploma holder.
- Graduates will then exit the stage right and proceed to the diploma table to where diplomas, along with any certificates and awards the graduates have earned, will be distributed.
- An additional photo opportunity with PYLUSD background will be available after the student exits the diploma table.
In addition to the drive-up/walk-through graduation we are producing a virtual Senior Celebration featuring then and now pictures of the graduates. More information on the date of release for the Senior Celebration will be coming within the next few days. If you have not submitted then and now pictures of your graduate, please go to our google form at https://forms.gle/43NSzbTTvCMLmFoZ7 to upload them.
