Before the start of the 2020-2021 school year, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) will reinvent La Entrada High School to fit the virtual learning needs of students kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Staff will utilize Apex online curriculum to deliver engaging and rigorous courses fully online and through hybrid options for middle and high school students. Staff will use a blend of District curriculum and supplemental online resources for kindergarten through sixth grade students. All students–K through 12–will meet with PYLUSD credentialed teachers specially trained in online learning either virtually or in person at least twice per week.
Students will not be required to participate in regular attendance at the school site. However, open office hours will be available for students to attend if they might benefit from in-person support.
