BVVA Update: January 12, 2021

January 12, 2021

Good Afternoon BVVA Families,

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all of our parents for the support that you give us and your students.  From the PTSA drive to the contributions you have made to our celebratory events has been outstanding.  A particular thank you is due to our parents who have taken leadership positions in our school community and have joined together to form the BVVA founding PTSA.  These parents have spent an abundance of time in collaboration, paperwork, and all the details that must be covered to form a brand new PTSA.  We are still looking for a PTSA Historian and Parliamentarian.  If you are interested in either of these positions please email [email protected].

Special thanks to BVVA Founding PTSA Officers!

President - Kristy Case

Executive Vice President - Debbie Venderley

Treasurer - Amy Chun

Secretary - Alison Sotomayor

Vice President of Programs/Ways and Means - Jeanna Richards

Best Regards,

Carrie Bisgard

Director, BVVA

Valentine’s Drive-Up Event

February 12, 2021

This event will feature a photo opportunity with teachers, a contact-free valentine exchange, and a “Share the Love” donation box for PYLUSD homeless families. Our homeless program is asking for new items including socks, blankets, and school supplies for those in need.

In order to allow us time to sort all of the valentines, we ask that you drop off the cards your student would like distributed to classmates during the materials pick up at the end of the month (1/29/20)

Watch our website, as more information, including a schedule of teacher photo opportunities, will be available at buenavistavirtual.org later this week.
