Enroll

If you are new to PYLUSD (Kindergarten or out of District), please go to www.pylusd.org/newstudentenrollment and type in our address (4999 Casa Loma Ave. Yorba Linda California 92886) as your address. BVVA will be displayed as a school option for you to select. Following this, please enroll with our school using the links below.

Enrollment typically takes between 2-5 days after submitting the initial application. Students who are READY TO ENROLL will be enrolled at BVVA within 2-5 days. 

 
2023/2024 Enrollment Procedure for Students: Grade K-8 - Below is enrollment for the 2023/2024 School year.
   
     1. Click HERE to complete the K- 8 Application.
     2. Buena Vista Virtual Academy will contact you regarding the next steps. 
 

2023/2024 Enrollment Procedure for Students: Grade 9-12

  1. Click HERE to complete the 9-12 Online Application. 
  2. Talk to your High School Counselor.  He or she will help you decide if an online or blended program could be right for you.  They will also submit a Counselor Recommendation to Buena Vista Virtual Academy.
  3. Buena Vista Virtual Academy staff will contact your family after a Counselor Recommendation and Online Family Application have been submitted to Buena Vista Virtual Academy regarding enrollment and the next steps.

Enrollment Procedure for Students Grades K-12 Residing Outside of the PYLUSD 

  1. Click HERE to complete the K- 8 Application.
  2. Click HERE to complete the 9-12 Online Application.
  3. Buena Vista Virtual Academy staff will contact you regarding transcripts and records required from your current school or district.
  4. Before enrolling, students must get a release from their current district. This requires the completion of an inter-district transfer request from the home school district.
  5. Complete the registration/admission forms. Bring these forms, the inter-district transfer request, student proof of birth, and immunization records to your school appointment.
  6. Return the completed inter-district transfer request to your district of residence. Be sure to also return all textbooks and pay all outstanding fees. The process must be completed within 5 days of enrollment in Buena Vista Virtual Academy.
  7. Official records will not be forwarded to Buena Vista Virtual Academy until all the checkout procedures are complete.
  8. If you are new to PYLUSD, the parent is requested to create an Aeries account. Please use Buena Vista's school address (4999 Casa Loma Ave. Yorba Linda, CA. 92886) to find Buena Vista Virtual Academy on the PYLUSD online enrollment site. We will adjust your address after proof of address is received.
