Dear BVVA Students and Families,
Thank you so much for getting your Master Agreements signed and submitted to your child’s teacher. We appreciate your support to get this done quickly. The year is off to a great start. We have had two “Fun Friday” events with K-3rd graders, with more planned this month in the 4th grade class. The Dreams for Schools STEM classes are underway, as well. The excitement from the students is palpable.
Trunk-or-Treat
As a reminder, BVVA’s first ever Trunk-or-Treat event is happening on Friday, October 8th, from 5-7 pm. The PTSA has planned fun games, activities, and prizes for the students, and all are welcome to attend with their families. There will be food for sale from B & C Burgers (tacos and quesadillas), so please bring cash if you plan to stay for dinner.
We are still in need of a few more volunteers to help with the games. If you know any high school students who need community service hours, please bring them to support this event. We could also use a few more bags of peanut-free candy for the trunk-or-treaters. If you are able, please drop off donations at the BVVA office.
BVVA Spirit Wear
Don’t forget to show your BVVA spirit by buying your BVVA tees and sweatshirts. You can buy yours at https://stores.kustomimprints.com/Buena_Vista_Virtual_Academy_857. Shirts will be delivered to BVVA for pick-up in early November. The web store closes at midnight on 10/15, so order yours today.

On a personal note, you have the most amazing kids! I just adore seeing them on Zoom and in person. They are kind hearted, precocious, and engaged. It is just a joy to watch them learn.
